LHS students raise over £5000 for Loughborough Youth Development Project 26.02.18

We were delighted to invite Gary & Dawn Walker-Smith from the amazing Loughborough Youth Development Project to assembly to present them with a cheque for a whopping £5045.36 raised by all LHS Students & Staff last term with a variety of fabulous events. It was wonderful to welcome them in and thank them for all they do for young people in our community.

LYDP is an alternative education provision and social enterprise providing learning for young people aged 11-16 years old, not able to be in mainstream education, based in Loughborough, providing a unique learning environment and programme.  LYDP are also a social enterprise, meaning they are a not for profit organisation, so all the income generated goes back into providing materials and projects for its students.
