Parents' Association

What does the PA do?
Our main purpose is to foster relationships between staff and parents and to organise activities which support the school and the education being provided for our daughters. This could be through a fun and educational family event such as the Quiz Night which unites pupils and staff, or through the ‘Design a Shoe’ or craft events which offer our girls the chance to let loose with their creative flair.

Why do we need to raise funds?
Well firstly for those additional ‘nice to have’ items which can really add value to school life. For example, items such as the digital camera used throughout the school for project work and extra pianos to provide accompaniment to house assemblies. Extras include chess boards, equipment for ‘Quilling’ and bird boxes all of which are extra curricular clubs offered to broaden the activities and opportunities offered to our girls. In addition, a much-needed renovation for the Lower Sixth common room and the creation of an Eco-garden.  All of these have been bought with funds raised by the Parents’ Association.
