The Eco Garden is a recent addition to the High School environment. Funded by a very generous donation from the Parents' Association. It is a quiet space with seating areas and plenty of plants to attract a variety of insects as well as birds and hedgehogs. It has been planted with wild flowers and will enhance our commitment to care for the environment. Click here to read about the Eco Garden construction story.

A few girls from Y8 had the opportunity to go to Wimbledon. The girls had a lovely time and especially enjoyed getting their tennis balls signed by the professionals.

Anti-Smoking Workshop

As part of a PSCHE partnership activity Y10 girls informed a local primary school of the dangers of smoking through a series of workshops and drama activities.

Athletics Success

The junior track and field cup team thoroughly enjoyed their time in Gateshead competing in the national athletics finals which took place on the 3rd July. The team performed well with many girls achieving personal bests at every stage of the competition and finished eighth overall.
